Alert Notification: Ethoca sends merchant activity updates for disputed transactions to the endpoint provided by this app.
Callback URL Configuration: This application is set up in the bank’s Ethoca Alerts instance as a callback URL. Ethoca Alerts calls this endpoint whenever there is an update to the Dispute originated in Salesforce. These updates include any merchant response to the Alert. This endpoint is secured with Basic Authentication.
Salesforce Dispute Management Integration: When notifications from Ethoca are received, MuleSoft invokes Salesforce Transaction Dispute Management to log merchant activities. This enables Salesforce to reflect real-time dispute status updates and, depending on the Merchant response, either proceed to resolve the Dispute or initiate a chargeback on that transaction.
